“Teachers aren’t teaching kids how to be gay. They are teaching them that it’s OK to be who you are and that we should learn to love ourselves. Lack of self-love is a problem in this country. There is an epidemic of insecurity among the people. It may appear that an agenda is being pushed on us. But if we truly love ourselves. We will see how knowledge and compassion, especially self-knowledge and self-compassion, can save lives.”
