“One of my best achievements in life was learning to see the good in people and not their flaws. It wasn’t always easy, and still isn’t today. But doing so helps me feel good about myself and love who I am; two more of my best achievements.”
“I’ve heard it said that a lot of the emotional pain we experience in life is caused by having too much ego, but this isn’t always true. Our egos are necessary to help us love ourselves and feel good about who we are. Not loving ourselves and not feeling good about who we are can also cause us emotional pain. But this is due to fear and insecurity, and not having enough ego.”
“I’ve found that not being handy doesn’t make me less of a man. It just means I have to do ‘less’ to please my wife.”
I decided to lighten things up a bit on my blog with a few video’s I’ve done for my YouTube channel. I actually have a great sense of humor and my wife sometimes has to ask. “You can’t ever be serious can you?” I know I don’t show this humor very often on my blog, but that’s basically due to the passion I feel when writing. I do, however, show my humorous side in some of my video’s, and I hope you enjoy them. I believe that being able to make fun of ourselves shows good self-esteem. There I go getting serious again.
“Wonderful things happen when we improve on ourselves by trying to be a better person than we were before. We stop criticizing other people and the way they live. But more importantly, we stop criticizing ourselves and the way we live.”
“If you want to feel better about yourself just follow me around all day; I promise that by the end of the evening, you’ll definitely feel better about yourself.”
“Knowing who you are and believing in yourself builds an impenetrable defense against the ignorance of others.”
